ÇØ¸®(dissociation)¶ó´Â ¿ë¾î´Â "ÀǽÄ(consciousness)"¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ÇÙ½ÉÀûÀÎ ¾ÆÀ̵ð¾î(±â¾ïÀ» Çü¼ºÇϰí À¯ÁöÇϱâ, °¨°¢ÀÇ ÀλóµéÀ» µ¿È­½ÃŰ°í ±× Àǹ̸¦ ÀÌÇØÇϱâ, ÀÚ±â ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ Á¤Ã¼°¨À» À¯ÁöÇϱâ)¸¦ ±¸¼ºÇÏ´Â Çϳª ÀÌ»óÀÇ Á¤½Å ÀÛ¿ë»óÀÇ ºÐ¿­(disruption)À» °¡¸®Å²´Ù(American Psychiatric Association 1994, 477).
